Congratulations! You’ve been selected to interview for the C.B. Edwards Chemistry Scholarship!
Earlham has a strong chemistry department that is certified by the American Chemical Society. We are especially proud of our opportunities for students to do research and independent laboratory studies starting early in their college career. Our graduates are admitted to some of the best graduate-degree programs in chemistry in the nation, such as Purdue University, the University of Utah, and Boston University. Recent Chemistry and Biochemistry graduates have also gone on to work as research assistants at diverse settings such as Columbia University, Oak Ridge National Lab, and the National Institute of Health; other students enter M.D. programs at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, the University of Chicago, and more. Chemistry and Biochemistry majors at Earlham have also been selected as Fulbright scholars.
